I liked this story, especially how he tried to save her. Even though he couldn't save her anymore, he still was able to send her away. I know you said there would be no sequel, but maybe you'll change your mind in the future? Or at least write a short epilogue...please? Or if someone else continues it, do let us readers know! =)

OMG!! This was such a good story. It is so original and very well written. Someone else had noted in an earlier review that if you ever run out of ideas you could always come back to this and I have to say I think that would a spectacular idea. They met up several years down the road after the war is over the baby is growing up and see what type of relationship develops from there. It is just a little food for thought but since you are the creative genius I am guessing you will not be running out of plot lines any time soon. In any event really great story and I look forward to reading more of our work.

you should make a sequel going through the war and everything, you could easily make a novel length sequel, this would make a very good story and i would definately read a sequel.

In some sick way I liked this. He tried to save her because he loved her but couldn't. I know u said u wouldn't do a sequel but maybe one day when u've run out of plot ideas (god forbid) u might continue this... like when the war is over and she has to save him... hmm??
