Like SilverPhoenix, I too had to go back and re-read the story before I could review the latest update. Whew! I remember why I love this story, and what an excellent writer you are. Simply breathtaking. This story is undoubtedly one of the better written ones on this site, and is absolutely one of the most erotic. It's no surprise that you have over 24,000 hits, over 200 reviews, and over 100 ratings. Like Harry, who cannot resist the dark and sensual allure of Severus, so I cannot resist the allure of your writing and this story. Like Severus has done to Harry, you have enthralled me and keep me gasping for more. I admire the way that you end each chapter, at just the right place to guarantee both extreme frustration that there isn't more, and extreme anticipation for what's to come. Absolutely brilliant, and you are a master at it.

Every time I read this story, I just can't believe how good it is. Your Snape, gods, it gives me shivers just thinking about him. The sharp wit and biting insults and, damn, the sex, are just so amazing. *gah* Can't think straight. Haha, probably shouldn't have written this review right after reading through the story yet again, you have me out of sorts as always. The thing that makes it all the better is that the "relationship" can actually make sense. There's no real out-of-character jarring moments that can stutter other fics. And your sex writing is perfect, explicit to the point where I don't feel gypped, but not explicit to the point of redundancy with pages of the same descriptions over and over again. The dominance aspect is at just the perfect level for me, and I lovelovelove that you have so much from Snape's point of view. It. Is. Awesome.
(Oh, and love confused!Neville. He's so cute when he's all conflicted.)
