Ah, Snape with a cane. That always makes me very happy. And Draco bloody well deserved it; what a mean little brat he is!

This was really nicely told and paced; you could really feel that you were there, and feel the children's fear and hysteria.

You never know though, that party could have been going on. The story is so Death Eater centric that i almost forgot Harry and all of them might show up in the future.

This is a fantastically written story.
so much drama, and angst that i think im gopnna roll over and die from happiness.
i just wish that Voldemort had fucked Bella...i love the pairing, but i cant find any good hardcore fics about them. Hopefully in the future Voldemort takes Bella up on her offer... and uses Snape's collar idea.

You didn't need to worry about this chapter being boring - I found it very interesting to hear Voldemort's ideas about the future of magical education, especially regarding discipline (I liked Snape's aside about Filch). It was quite nice of Snape to speak up for Lucius as well.

I laughed out loud at Alecto snacking on fingernails too; how do you come up with all these crazy details? I love it.

I wouldn't worry about what they say over at ff.net - they only like fluffy bunny-wunnies over there, I find.

Bellatrix just never learns does she? I really like how gloriously deranged she is - and Voldemort was cruel, but that's what she likes about him, presumably.

The cannibalism chapter was horrific, but true to canon again, as you say.

I'm interested that you find it a bit worrying that this is the kind of writing you enjoy - does it make it any better to know that there are plenty of writers/artists who cover the same territory? Expressing your imagination artistically is not the same as actually wanting to do/see this kind of thing in RL. I hope it doesn't cause you too much anxiety xx.
