Poor Severus! Angst be thy middle name!
Another well written chapter, and congrats on meeting your personal challenge.

As for the previous chapter, please DON'T rewrite it! Yes, it was ickysquicky, but it was perfectly written. You included just enough surprise and ewwwww! factor to give your story the right twist, and to show how Severus's hands are tied in regard to Voldemort's wishes, yet also express Severus's loathing for the things he must do to protect Harry and himself. I really think you did an excellent job of conveying that. Throughout you wrote that Severus was stoic and expressionless on the outside, but his inside revulsion was perfectly clear. The "...got down to work.." line said it all. There was no enjoyment for Severus, nor any choice, in what he was being forced to do.

All I have to say is EEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well that and poor sev how is he going to protect his family now?
