I'm surprised Flitwick didn't hand him sackful of Galleons right then and there, despite the fact that (I would hope) it would be illegal according to NCAA-like rules which are surely in place to govern Apprenticeships.... Sometimes we all get a leetle carried away in this Universe, don't we? Easy to do when you're our guide. Hope you're on the mend.

I think that if Severus tells Professor Granger about what Flitwick is trying to offer him right up front, she may take him on as an apprentice. I think that Flitwick is just trying to buy or offer Severus many things just so he will accept. i can't wait to read more soon.

Mad as a hattar, that one. Perhaps I'm a bit self-serving, but Flitwick's offer would have me drooling. I might come back to the Professor when I was done, but no way would I give up that opportunity for someone not equally devoted to me.
