No problem! ^_^ Glad you took it in the spirit it was intended - some people are mortally offended if one points out even a factual mistake, no matter how politely phrased.
And I LOVE the fact that you didn't make Harry kill/defeat the basilisk! That someone else did it and not just due to sheer dumb luck, with no clue what he's doing and lots of outside help a la book!Harry, but in a clever way in frightening circumstances. Even if it ended tragically for the poor boy...
I mean, with the events and Harry's circumstances and personality altered that much from canon and Harry not being a Hogwarts-student - or even allowed to interact with those who are! - I'd find it pretty unbelievable if he'd suddenly proceeded as in the books (or kept what he's heard all those months to himself inspite of living with an adult he trusts more than anyone else so far in his life and who's responsible for him). So this worked really well imo! It was an original alternate take that fit well with your own version of the years while still giving Harry the possibilty to shine. And without equating his strong magical powers with suddenly dramatically increased/acquired intelligence or, worse, instant knowledge as if those were the same/one magically coming with the other as so many authors of powerful!Harry-fics do... My compliments.

Hey, did you alter the timeframe you're writing in? I assumed with Longbottom etc. still the same age Harry their first year happened in 1991/1992 just as in the books... However, now you had them visit the London Eye - which was opened to the public in spring 2000 (thus it's other name Millenium Wheel) and I'm a bit puzzled.
