This continues to intrigue - she clearly has some magical abilities that are as yet unknown to her or the Hogwarts staff; it will be interesting to see them uncovered.

I could almost imagine myself in her place, so vivid and minute was your description of her pain and her swimming in and out of consciousness. And Snape saying 'I've got you' did make me sigh dreamily a little. I'd swap places with her (minus the pain, of course).

I'm hooked already. It's hard to get many reviews on this board because a lot of people harden their hearts against OCs and won't read about them - but they're missing out in this case! Please don't be discouraged.

Lovely atmospheric writing.

I would be interested to know where the story will go from here (though I thought Hogwarts was enchanted against Muggles being able to find it? Is she secretly a witch?! Oooh - I want to know!)

Oh this is more than good. You have a fantastic writing style. I can picture it all in my mind as I read. What a terryfying experience, being attacked by centaurs. I wonder what they meant about her being veiled, and I loved how some mysterious magic allowed her to slow time momenteraly and then let her burn the centaurs leg. I have a feeling the beasts think she is the equivilent of another Voldermort. Am I right? You probably won't answer that question as it would give too much away. Well at least she's safe now, and clearly has some kind of magical power that has somehow been bound at an early age. Who did it?
Can hardly wait for the next posting.
