I guess Vivian is an acceptable name for the arithmancy professor, but it's not rooted anywhere. A proposed (from the pen of JK Rowling herself) name for Vector but not exactly canon (explicitly stated in the books) is Septima - a name related to numbers, something akin to arithmancy. I take the quasi-canon name over an original one - Professor Sprout's name was long speculated and accepted as being Pomona, but it wasn't revealed in actual canon until book 6. I say stick with what we have...

I swear on Snape's grave that I have never read a hotter shower scene ever. Ever. Who knew arithmancy professors could be so dirty? I shudder to imagine my math teacher doing anything along those lines. I really love your stories, especially this one. Keep up the amazing work!
