Aha, right, now we've got the canon context. Sirius is heading to his doom; I'll be interested to hear Lupin's take on that.
Nice verbal sparring between the Marauders and Snape, and I like the ups and downs of his (he thinks) doomed attraction to Tonks.
I guess they'll be getting together soon then (rubs hands).
I think you've caught Lupin's voice so well; one doesn't know whether to hug or shake him for being so silly over Tonks.

This rueful, self-deprecating Lupin is irresistible - even if he has got the charisma of a flobberworm.
I'm definitely enjoying the horror that is Remus Lupin Trying to be Charming to the Ladies - it's great. Poor soul.
Looking forward to Tonks' next move.

Ah, sputtering. The last refuge of the decidedly embarrassed.
I love that line. Absolutely brilliant! I like your personification of Remus very much!

I'm finding your Remus totally convincing in this; such a sweetheart.
That's a good point about looking after Harry in his childhood - I'd kind of assumed that perhaps it was illegal for werewolves to have children, but DH makes it clear that that isn't the case. Surely he'd have been better than the Dursleys!
So he's fighting his attraction to Tonks - how long can that last, I wonder? Sirius is a jerk, as usual. LOL.
Looking forward to the next instalment.

Yay, you're doing it! I'm so happy to see this, you can't imagine. And titling it after a Morrissey song *dies of pleasure*.
Deathly Hallows has shot down so many muses it ought to be charged, but I'm glad all the ships are still afloat in one way or other.
This is a lovely start. The dialogue between Remus and Sirius is very naturalistic and I like the firewhiskey wheedling these confessions out. Is it going to be Remus/Tonks? Or something else?
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next chapter and some warmth & fuzziness for poor Remus.
