I used to believe it was one-sided too, until Rowling's recent Bloomsbury webchat interview. When asked directly about Lily's feelings for Snape, she replied that Lily cared for him a great deal, and might have developed romantic feelings for him, if he hadn't set out on the Dark Path. So, in essence, it wasn't as one-sided as many of us suspected. She did have feelings for him at one point, before his choice to fall in with Mulciber.

Wow I really like this fic! I love the effects of the potion and how well you're describing things. I'm really looking forward to upcoming chapters with even more partners for Lily (but with Sev still around)!
