Oh my dear god. That chapter left a HUGE impact. I cried, okay? I cried twice. You made me cry twice! That was .. heart wrenching, to say the least. I really really still feel like crying. George.. oh my god. He didn't deserve that kind of pain. Not at all. He was one of the nicest person ever. He was brave right until the end. Even the others didn't have the right to make him endure all the pain, not even for another week. Harry knew what was best for him, and George had asked Harry because he knew Harry would be the only one that could understand his pain. Obviously it was hard for Harry, he couldn't kill George, it just wasn't right. Yet who was he to deny all the pain that George was feeling? To leave him like that and wait for the time to come would hurt George more than the pain itself. That would be a betrayal. So Harry did it, but not before hurting himself first. And that git indeed, how could he just stay silent and let it burden him? My god. Even I could tell it was beyond hard for Harry. The burden that he keeps alone could slowly break him, if it hasn't started already. And Draco saw all that. He could see what would become of Harry in the future. I'm glad he did, because if he didn't, he'd be just like the rest of them. He don't deserve to get Harry if he didn't see all that. But alas, he is Draco Malfoy. He DID see. They totally deserve each other. And the other part that made me cry was the Harry and Draco part. I could tell that Draco was hurt. Both of them were hurt, especially when Harry remembered about Ginny. He knew it would be wrong to his family and Ginny if he let it all go to Draco, if he depended on him. Even if that was the only thing he needed and wanted most. My heart went to Draco when he walked away. That part was so, so sad. It must be hard for him too, to wait for Harry.
One of the best chapters. You're just a great writer. You described everything so fine, I could literally feel the emotions behind all words. I hope Harry would be okay. And Draco too. Can't wait for the next one.

OMG! I had no idea it was really the end of George--and how! Shock.
This chapter was so sad. Not only the passing of George but Harry not allowing himself any comfort or mourning rights. (And I just got a sense of Harry "on the outside"-sad.) Everything was so touching and delicate yet necessary and harsh. I think you did a good job, capturing the edges and curves of the tragedy and all the tumltous emotions banging against the walls.
What a request George made of Harry! It seems like it was for the best, though. Magic can do a lot of good things, but keeping someone alive who is rotting and grossly bleeding to death despite the "kindness" if not the patient's request seems cruel. Yet, I totally understand Harry's concern about his relationships with everyone, if they were ever informed of his role in George's slightly early departure. Wouldn't want to be him.(This is the song that never ends...)
The weight on Harry's shoulders from everything must be near reaching his limits. Let's just see if he can keep from adding on guilt from other war casualties. Or will he take them unto himself as well. I feel so bad for Harry.
...Yes, it goes on and on my friends! Some people started singing it not knowing what it was...
I was impressed that Draco picked up that Harry was lying. Granted Draco came with the intention of focusing on Harry and wasn't as consumed by tears as those around him, but I don't think Draco's intuition and familiarity about Harry can ever be topped. I totally think Draco has been familiarizing and memorizing Harry since the day they met and not necessarily on purpose. That is just the kind of person Draco is and since Harry became a unforgettable or non-get-riddable figure in Draco's life, I see it as maybe a bit of Draco's nature to make sure he remembers everything (if for no other purpose than to use it and the mere accuracy of his memory prowess against them). But maybe it is Only Harry.

Yep. Ginny sure would say that she's the victim. Indubitability. Perhaps a lawn gnome can serenade her with a weepy violin when this all comes to a head. Ah, this fics many tendrils tug, snag, and tickle. ;)

If he was ever tempted, he only had to remind himself how much Ginny and the children would be hurt by his straying. That was enough to keep his dick firmly in his pants. {-- ah Harry, so noble ... So. Bloody. STUPID!

Holy crap! Are you trying to give me a heart attack or something? Because I almost had one! It was sooooooooooooo out of sudden I didn't even have the chance to breathe properly. I was beyond horrified when that .. thing had Scorpius, and even more when it broke Draco's shield. And just when I was trying to calm myself down, Harry and his family were then attacked. So glad that Narcissa was there to save Draco and Scorpius. And Harry to know all those useful dark spells. If not for them, I really don't want to know what could have happened. I really, really despise Draco's wife. Especially if she had willingly helped the Salazar's Snakes into the Manor's ward. I understand that she really wanted to get Draco killed, but her own son? The hell? One thing's for sure, now we know just how DAMN dangerous the Salazar's Snakes are. And oh gods, what happened to George? Pleaseee make him okay. I really hope he's okay. Wow, intense chapter. Extremely worrying. Really can't wait for the next one. Good work!
