Two points: I instantly thought of the bezoar myself when this happened. I'm pretty sure he would have, as well. Being in any proximity of that snake and being as knowledgeable about such things as he was... yeah. Good call.
Also, some of the wording she used in the book implies that Snape knew Harry (or rather, someone) would be in the shack to gather his sieve memories. This is most curious... however nothing really at all to do with your prologue.
Anyway.. bravo- please continue. I have only just now started reading fanfic again after having read the final book, and yours was the first I laid eyes upon.

Brilliant, must say I was really sad to see his ending in the book... at least he got some redemption out of it. I was wondering where you had gone up to! No new fics for aaaaaaages... anyway... great as always... hoping you might want to develop!!!

Ms Figg! Now why didn't JKR think of something like this? Shows you who the smart one's are, eh! Of course a potions master would carry a bezoar! Since you've written 'prologue' after the title, I am guessing that this will continue... ;)

YES!!!!!!!!! As always, dear Figgy, you have outdone yourself! I was pissed as hell when JK killed off our sexy potions master. It was so flat! The whole ending too was lacking somewhat but there is always room for speculation about who Hermione is with. ;) I can't wait to see how you get our two insufferable Know-it-alls together!! Cheers!

Thank you so much for writing this. This is how it should have ended. Severus gave up his life for "the greater good". At the very least he could have survived to go on and live a life with some happiness in it. It's just not fair.

Fuck yeah! I love Snape!!!
