Thank you...For writing this. I was honestly very pissed off the way Snape died in the book. He's a potions master for crying out loud! He's been a spy for a very long time! He should've thought to at the very LEAST carry around some antivenom. I think that was the most OOC moment in DH..

Mrs Figg, I'm not exactly your biggest fan (mainly because of your usual take on Hermione's sexual tastes) but I thank you from the bottom of my heart for writing this story. SS/HG is not my favourite ship by any means (that's H/Hr) but I'm prepared to consider Hermione with ANYONE rather than Ron Weasley. In this story you put your finger exactly on why I loathe the R/Hr ship so much. It's obvious the Weasley matriach's views on feminine roles are deeply conservative, something she's passed on to her sexist son. Hermione's husband and mother in law would eventually beat down her determination to have a career outside the home and she would resign herself to being just a wife and mother. There's nothing wrong with being a housewife of course, but Hermione has so much potential as a witch, so much to offer the wizarding world it would be an utter waste. No matter what happens to Hermione in this story it can't be as bad as the fate Rowling implied for her. So please keep writing; more power to you!
