Wow, what an excellent take on a canon ending. About Hermione wasting her life... JKR didn't write it in her epilogue, but she stated in an interview that Hermione chose 'Magical Law' as a career path. Her oldest child is a few years younger than Harry's eldest; perhaps she had used those additional years for furthering her education. It's hard to speculate with so few clues. I guess what I am trying to say is that being a good mother in a happy marriage and being a successful woman in the workforce aren't two things that necessarily need to be mutually exclusive.

Anyway, this is a great beginning. I'm absolutely amazed that you have so much written since it hasn't been even a month yet since the release of DH. I'm also quite impressed that you have managed to keep Snape so true to character; although I do think you have made him more attractive than is necessary. What's attractive about Severus is his acerbic wit; not his body.

Can't wait for your next update :).

lol. His wit is sexy but we've never been given a description of his body, though we know he isn't handsome feature-wise. That's why it's fantasy. I picture him as having a very strong, tough kind of wiry body because of what he's gone through. But scarred. And of course with a very yummy ... er...attribute. Fantasy!Snape. lol. Anyway, yes, I've heard about JKR's interviews about what happened with Hermione and the rest of them, though there's been some conflicting stories about Ron I think. I basically just go with the open end where the book left off. I don't watch the interviews. I guess when the encyclopedia comes out we'll find out what's what. Thank you for commenting

Oh Damnation! I just fell into your story like I always do... Started it and couldn't stop until I got to this last chapter... Okay, so now I am begging... Update soon! I'm not sure how much suspense I can take.

Hmmm...Voldemort regaining strength through the empathy of a child...wow. Will he come back? Is that even possible?? I can't wait to find out!

I can understand Hermione being quite curious and a bit excited, but why is she having such a cow about Snape. So she doesn't like to be tricked. Too bad. She really wasn't tricked anyway. She was just never told who owned the company. It didn't bother her until now. She hadn't bothered her much when she took the job that she didn't know who owned the company. Snape hasn't done anything to hurt her and his business is his business. He owes her nothing but a pay check. She may even owe him a wizard's debt for saving Hugo. She afraid of him, why? He fought to kill Voldamort and never hurt her, Harry nor Ron. He even saved Harry's ass a few times. Yes, he's a powerful wizard. Yes, he can be dangerous, but I bet Hermione can be too. So, he's a mean bastard. He hasn't inflicted that on her since she became his employee. I hope for and do expect Hermione to keep his secret.

It didn't seem to me that Snape was giving Hermione permission to tell Harry he is alive. I felt he was simply resigned to the fact that the self righteous know it all would do what ever she wanted regardless of his wishes. In this case, I feel that precious little Harry's need to know does not out way Snape's right to privacy. If she tells Harry I will be disappointed in her, especially since Snape tried to help her family by giving her this job. Also, if she tells Harry I am certain Harry will force himself upon Severus. I am really enjoying this story. I enjoy all of your stories actually. When I really like a story I become very involved and tend to give reviews with my commentary and opinions on the events and characters. It's not because I think you should change anything. I hope it isn't annoying.
