Ha... I love how Snape is totally unembarrassed by the fact his erection is poking Hermione. Well... perhaps not totally unembarrassed, but calm enough about it. I just wish Hermione wasn't so... spastic. I hate how Snape constantly has the upper hand with her. Well, perhaps hate is a bit of an exaggeration, but I certainly don

LOL at Hermoine's discomfort...you just had to do that to her, didn't you? I love it.
I hope you're feeling better, Ruth. I scratched my cornea when I was younger and it was NOT fun. Get well soon - take your time with the story, we'll all wait patiently like puppies for you to update!

I'm not sure "spastic" is an adequate description of Hermione at this point. You have to realize she has only been with Ron. If she had experience with other men, then her reaction would be less than understandable. For her to be "accepting" of seeing another man naked, or aroused would be a stretch, at least in my opinion. Ron has only been gone a little more than a year and she hasn't dealt with anyone sexually other than him. It's going to take some time for her to come to terms with not only Snape's sexuality, but her own. How much time is the question.

I'm not sure Snape has the upper hand here. He's been in love, but never intimate with a woman he loved. His sexuality is based on answering his physical needs when they arise. Hermione knows what it is to make love, to feel more than animal desire. Snape doesn't. So, looking at that aspect, Hermione has the upper hand in that she knows what it is to love a man wholly, not from a distance. Her love was never unrequited and sex meant something to her. The fact that Snape is acting cooler than Hermione doesn't mean he necessarily is. Then again, Hermione isn't displaying her horror and discomfort. Only feeling it, as is Severus, though I doubt he feels horror. I don't really see an upper hand here. Only a difficult situation that's throwing them both into an unfamiliar area. Now, how will they react and deal with it?

im not sure why you've brought voldie back, but i assume it will lead to entertaining adventures between that brainy duo we love so much. sorry to hear about your eye - for an organ that receives absolutely no blood flow, the cornea is ridiculously sensitive. hope things heal up quick; now that we've seen snape's goodies, i want to see them in action!

wicked: lol. I just attribute it to my personal and obsessive need to read something hot, interesting and adventurous about this couple. The way I write, I never know what's going to happen in the story until I actually write it, so it's fun for me. As long as the story doesn't get boring or predictable, I'm happy with it and share it. Basically all I know about any story I write is Severus and Hermione are going to end up together. And that's what I work toward. ***
