hi, I really like this story. I've read a few of yours and to me this is your best yet. I love the place you've given them and the situation. Fun. I actually wonder how Molly would see Hermione as a spouse for her boy. I tend to think that unless she conformed, Hermione wouldn't be all the in favor by her. But, who knows. When the kids are at school there is no one to look after, so a job makes complete sense. It's not like she's in any way deserting them -- they aren't there.

One (small) comment, Snape only had the title professor when teaching at hogwarts. In HP, they don't "earn" the title like we understand it in the Muggle world. So, he wouldn't say that. He has no title now other than Mr. Teachers were given the title professor for the duration of their teaching time (eg: Lupin, Hagrid, etc). JKR has also stated there was no formal universities etc from which to earn a title.

Fluffy: Hermione did conform and that had the effect of staving off Molly's misgivings. As far as titles are concerned, although this story is relatively DH compliant, it is still "alternative universe." Eventually someone comes up with the bright idea there should be "established" ways of someone gaining a degree. That's happened here. So there are "universities" in this story. Snape has been called "Professor" for a number of years, and is comfortable with it, even though he has been to himself for the past two decades. He is comfortable with his title. Although Hermione is willing to relax "the standards" he isn't. It's just a matter of personal preference. Yes, he is getting to know her, but he still would like to maintain a bit of his discipline. Plus, I find it a bit sexy. Thanks for your comments.

"The Potions master was so meticulous . . . it was like watching a master at work." Hm, yeah, that makes sense... :D
And he eats stew with a fork?

But apart from that I quite enjoyed that Friday evening (despite the fact that it's only mid-Thursday). I wasn't so happy about that arousal, would have preferred something more decent, but that's a matter of taste and I liked that they openly spoke about it rather than working together in silent embarassment.

*Looking forward to more updates, as usual*

lol Ele: I had a rough day yesterday, after the eye a stomach virus> I woke up at 2:30 this morning and groggily typed out that chapter. I'll probably alter a line or two later today. As you know I'm not big on "decency" lol. But it seemed a normal reaction to close contact at least initially. Sometimes nature can't be thwarted, no matter how inappropriate. But they are both adults, for it not to be addressed would have been . . . well . . . childish and led to future misunderstandings.
