Dare I say it? This is one of your greatest works yet, and I've followed through most of your equally numerous and wonderfully real stories.
It's just so imaginative yet realistic... I love that you make people actually have faults and age.
I also like the fact that things are developing slowly, unlike most stories which go straight into the action.
It's a treat to read, and I always go straight to the SS/HG section in hopes you've updated.
Thanks for this lovely diversion from life!

Oh, I forgot to mention that I am loving Rod! How do you come up with all these great characters? If only I could take an adventure trip in your mind... probably would make for an exciting story lol.
Hopefully Rose will save him from Tom Riddle. *shudder* Speaking of which, those stories with the Umbridge/Voldemort pairings seriously made me go between retching and laughing my butt off.
Please add more about Rod =] I have high hopes for him.

Oh my, I was so into Hermione and Severus, I forgot about Rod. He turned out powerful after all, that sounds like bad stuff is going to happen.
I loved the line where Hermione tells Molly she's not Ron's wife, she is his widow. After all the talk about Lily, that almost made me cry...again *sniff*.

Sarah: Not brain-wise. He's powerful, but it's like the equivalent of lifting weights for years not overall magical abilitiy. He's had to focus so much to cast a spell with the wand he had, that he was "magically" bulked up when he got hold of a wand that worked properly for him. It's almost overkill as far as intent goes. That's why he's so powerful. He's still an average student otherwise.

As far as Rod's ability to block spells, that was probably born of desperation. He couldn't really block hexes, but that doesn't mean he didn't try, probably hard as hell. So his being fast is probably reflex.

i wasnt sure where you were going with odd rod and voldie, but i have to say i really really like it! the juxtaposition of voldemort's dark desire for power and rod's ligher, more human reasons for respect is very entertaining and shows just how relative things are depending on perspective and 'a certain point of view'. i like the way hermione and severus are heating up, stirring each other's intellectual fire that will eventually set their passion alight. cant wait for these lemons! molly is freaking me out - please tell me the breakdown in the kitchen with hermione purged her grief? i can see her going Dark or even insane in her grief, and a Dark molly is too horrifying to think about... cant wait to read the net few chapters and find out!!!

I really, really enjoyed the latest chapter :)
especially the conversation between hermione and severus about their gone loved ones and how
they are supposed to continue. that was very nice and although I had tears in my eyes it felt
right, you know.
also, how severus put lily's picture away was another important step, I think.
he's healing, isn't he :)
harry annoys the hell out of me though :P damn, that boy..
