Excellent chapter! *giggles* Just LOVE this story!

I think Rose is non-confrontational unless she gets really angry, and it's probably something that's rather special to her since both Ron and Hermione were rather reactive, and Hugo doesn't seem to have a problem opening his mouth about things. Not every child is like her parents. We can assume Rose has probably gone out to dances with Roland before, and doesn't want to have a falling out with him for one reason or another, or maybe go through an ugly scene, though she doesn't seem to have any affection for him. Although it would be very satisfying to have her shoot Roland down directly it makes for more excitement that she doesn't. lol. Character shortcomings and imperfections come in handy for that. lol.

ok, so i'm seriously in love with this story but it is driving me NUTS. PLEASE get them together (as in bed) soon!!!!

I love Rod so much. I am sorry but he looks like a real Griffindor and Rose realy doesn't act like one. Maybe the deth of her father changed her like that because I don't see a real Griffindor acting like her. I am impatient to see how James will be. I imagine him like his grandfather.

The kiss - it was wanderful, romantique and so sweet.
I didn't like how Rose acted. Why she agreed with that boy to go out with him if Rod give up? Hermione at her place would have kicked his ass for that.

Great chapter! Cannot wait to read more.

Way to grow a backbone Rod! And what's this? A leaning towards the professor, Hermione? Lean girl, LEAN! Hehe, great chapter as always Ms Figg.

I'm pretty surprised Rose didn't have something to say in all that.
