Well, for a rape scene it certainly happened rather slowly. I know he was mentally torturing her, but it just didn't seem like a proper rape. (Not that I know what one of those is.) I just expected him to throw her down and do it, not make it seem like it was just rough sex. Of course it was rape because she said no, but it didn't feel right. Maybe I was expecting more violence, I'm not sure.
Please don't be put off by my negativity. I did enjoy reading it. I just imagined him to be more sadistic.
