This was a really good one-shot. I am glad that I decided to search through older fics.

Well done! This was very well written, particularly the end part. After reading "Kindred Spirits" I wanted to read what else you've written, and was quite eager to read this one, as it's my favourite pairing. This was beautifully bittersweet....I love the angst, and I'm a sucker for a happy ending, especially when it's these two damaged souls. Loved it, and if you decide to continue it, I'll be right back to read it.

I "A Night Out", short and bittersweet! I'm so glad you have decided to share your talent with the world by putting your work out here to be seen. I love the Harry/Snape combo because they're both flawed characters and they both desperately need love - it's nice to see them find it with each other. Please write more and longer stories for your new fans!

Thank you all for your reviews. First of all, this was intended as a one-shot, but I may change that at some point. As I've only been writing fanfiction a short while, I have no idea what the future holds in that respect. Ariel, thank you for your advice. Harry/Severus is my favorite ship to read, and I had a great deal of fun writing it. As for the ending, I took the coward's way out. I've always been bad with endings, so my stories tend to end abruptly. I considered several possibilities for this (from a drawn-out conversation to Harry attempting suicide), but this was the only ending that I really liked. Once again, thank you.

The ending was both angsty and sweet, a hard combination to do. It had a happy ending too I like that.

I'm amazed . . . very powerful, right to the end. Great job! I love Severus' sarcasm and wit, but the ending was what really tugged at me. Thanks for sharing this!
