Chapter 1: Well played, well written - well done. I do have a question. I assume the fidelity vow means Narcissa wants to sleep with Severus? As well as Lucius? She sounds like she's willing to have Lucius stop sleeping with her in order to have Severus in her bed because I would think that would be her husband's reaction to her finagled request.
I'd, of course, like to know the backstory on why Narcissa wants Snape and I'd be fascinated to know why Snape apparently wants her in return. (I don't think she would bother with the trick if she weren't sure of Snape.)
Lucius really should have read the small print. But Narcissa may have just signed Snape's death warrant. She didn't specify that Snape had to be alive to accept the extended fidelity vow. Lucius isn't really a very nice man, you know. 8-)
