...aaaaaand now it's become a bad story. I really liked chapters one through five (though the sex scenes were pretty repetitive and they acted oddly OOC in certain sections), but chapter six was when the illusion of the story broke down and I realized that it was just some person writing a fic, rather than a portrayal of things that actually happened (I know that sounds odd to say about a story featuring wizards, but I think you understand me). Ron's behavior is totally inappropriate and unrealistic: he's clingy, posessive, and confrontational. You try to have him toe the line between 'controlling ex-boyfriend' and 'concerned friend', but he comes off as strange and weird. It is obvious that he is designed to be a dramatic foil, a person who sets up conflict by giving Harry and Hermione a reason to be real hush-hush about their relation ship. Q: Why does Ron act like such an ass? A: Because The Plot Is A Beast That Must Be Fed. It's clear that the chain of events that you've plotted out requires an outside voice challenging Harry and Hermione's relationship, but you couldn't figure out who to give that voice to, and so have Ron act completely out of character and like an all-around jerk. Nice story and all, but with chapter six I no longer care about how everything ends.
