well, lucius is making some attempts... the roses were a nice touch. knowing that hermione's hormones were out of wack makes one believe that he really does care about her, enough to be able to read her well. but, lucius never does anything that doesn't give him something in return... always the clever slytherin. although, i feel bad for him for dumping the dance on hermione like that. what hugely pregnant woman wants to dress up and flaunt herself in front of others? especially when they are his snarky, pureblooded, bigot friends?

i'm still curious to know who is trying to set her up.

well i enjoyed that. poor lucius that man is just so slow on the horemone issue, but hopefully he is learning that. well one thing that will be intresting when they move into the manor is the scheduling of meals with more than one coruse. (personally i thing we are fools to have lost that along the way i rather like going to some resterants that do that and i enjoy it.) i also have one request that you write the confersation where lucius tells hermione that they have the dinner-dance thing. because face it will be worth it!! :)

i think that you should send them to the mansion...i can't wait to see how hermione is going to react to that...great chapter...

I like the mental image of a naked Lucius on a bed of green sheets. Very sexy. Anyway, I think he is improving, but dropping a bombshell about a dinner dance is not a good idea.

Ah, I thought Lucius was going to be an ass over the soup - only ONE course!! - but he ended up being rather sweet. I think marmalade should be one of the major food groups though.

That was a lovely little pre-prandial taster though...I don't think tears would be in my eyes if Lucius were lying on my bed covered in rose petals...heh heh. Those are some powerful hormones she's got going on. You write their physical longing for each other so vividly; it makes me sigh.

Excellent. I love Lucius' reactions to Hermione's emotions. He should just overlook it when she cries, unless she tells him otherwise. I hope that she eventually moves into the manor with him or he just might starve from not eating three or more courses of food. I can't wait to read more.

i kept sitting here, hoping there was more.
i positively loved how Lucius tried to make
nice to Hermione. it was sweet of him, even
if there were ulterior motives. i mean, this
is Lucius we're talking about. its always a
great pleasure to see what kind of deviousness
the man comes up with to get his way.

i always look for updates on this and am always
excited when there is one. this is one of the
only two fics i'm currently reading, so i love
updates. i just wish i could give reviews that
are as deep as the ones you're leaving for me.
i hope its enough that i love this story and
just can't stop myself from coming back for
more.
