I don't know how far back you plan to send him. But, I hope you have Cedric live this time around.
There is so much Harry can change. He can out Voldy and Quirrell early, even get the stone earlier. He can get the diary from Ginny or kill or take control of the Basillisk before Riddle, get Scabbers and prove Sirius is innocent and he won't have to go back to the Dursleys.

Uh you may not have noticed but on the list of dead people in this 3rd chapter your said Remus. >_> You said in the second chapter he was the new DA teacher lol. Anyways other than that, fairly good start. Looking forward to more.

I'm confused. In Chapter 2, you said Remus was teaching DADA, yet in Chapter 3, he's in the list of those who've died. Which is it?

Well I do hope you work on finishing this paticular story. I know from personal experience that sometimes rewriting something can be the best thing. It sucks at first but in the end the story usually turns out better then you first expected it to be. I will be honest though there are some times when it doesn't. :D keep your chin up.
