And I did think that it was Lily's red hair breeding through. I just thought about it more and got worried.
BTW, what happened to Ginny? Not that I want her back, but I am curious. Maybe she's still at home, "playing" with Ron and Molly? (And Hermione moved in with the Potters, just wasn't mentioned, he hopes.)

Oh, another idea.
In 1.5 years, Hogwarts will need a DADA/Flying/Whatever teacher. After all, he'll want to stay close to (or, sometimes, inside ;P) Katie. While there, he meets up again with Hermione, who they had lost track of after she went off to muggle university, but it turns out is just starting teaching transfig at Hogwarts, since Fumbledore retired and Minnie got the Headmistress job.
Harry can adjust that spell a little bit, and I'm sure Hermione's good enough to change the size of the tool her spell can produce, for lots of fun detentions. (In addition to family play night and such =])
