Wow! I generally don't read the really long stories, but this one had me hooked from the start. I couldn't wait to find out what happened next. You kept me intrigued through all 26 chapters, and I can't wait for MORE! I don't generally care for Severus being so needy, but I loved this because you haven't changed his basic character, just given us a glimpse of a hidden side of him. In other words, you've made his neediness plausible, and I thank you for not turning my favourite character into a whinging, snivelling little girl. I like the fact that although you started out with Harry being a total shit, completely out of character, you brought him back into character, but with a twist, which you also made plausible. My only real issue, (and this is not a flame!)is with the spelling and grammar mistakes, but then, as an English teacher I will admit to being somewhat anal about that sort of thing. That aside, however, I think that this story is well written, imaginative, original and well thought out. Indeed, one of the better stories on AFF. Kudos to you and please, don't keep your fans waiting too long for more!

I've been intrigued by this story: how out of character Harry had been, how easily disappointment led Severus to give up his postition and hope, and at how your plot of past curses and a forcefully-forgotten love were the reason for Harry's abominable behavior.

At first, I thought (with Harry's screaming fits of irrational anger) that this was some silly fic by a teenager enthralled with the freedom to express a repressed potty-mouth attitude, but something deeper kept me reading. I'm glad I did. You have explained the reasons quite well and have finally returned our Harry to us, with his abnormal capacity for love and forgiveness back in charge. Those curses he was under were some nasty things, twisting his thoughts and emotions into somone unrecognizable.

And now, when Harry has rediscovered his true feelings and has a chance to be with the one he loves, there might not be any time left for Severus. How cruel. Like dangling a treat to a cheerful dog, that is yapping excitedly and can smell how good it will taste...then you pocket the treat without a second's remorse and walk away, leaving the poor dog sitting in puzzled dejection, wondering if he'd been bad. (This is probably where I should tell you that I'm the biggest angst whore around! LoL) Heartache is on the horizon and it is questionable if Harry will survive the blow if it lands. Don't leave us waiting too long, please?

You have no idea how much I love this fic. I don't know why but i'm so addicted to a dominant Harry. I think its just so hot. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
