I see you have it all thought out. Quite interesting so far, but there isn't too much to review. You must have spent a lot of time to develop all those creatures and I'm looking forward to see how you will incorporate them in your story.
Also this is one of the very few stories where physical abuse has its immediate reaction. Usually it's something along the lines: Harry gets raped but the only outward sign of it is flinching and that's all.
Unfortunately there are few misspelled or rather misplaced words, like: 'metal instability', 'with' instead of 'will', 'each' instead of 'eat' and often 'in' instead of 'if' or 'is'.
And there is of course the question of what happened with Harry's things and what of Petunia. Will she still leave with Vernon dead or will she become a suspect?
As far as the pairings go I vote for Hermione/Cho Chang or even Hermione/Luna Lovegood. I believe the second pairing is much better, they are much different with Hermione's down to earth attitude and Luna's fantasy world, but I think that in a strange way they complete each other and after all there is some truth that opposits attract. I don't really care who Ron end up with as long as it's not with Hermione. Let's say it could be Ron/Neville.
To sum it all up: interesting so far and we'll see what the future holds.
