Chapter 4: First off, thank you for the glossary of Latin terms. My knowledge of latin is nonexistent and I could look it all up, but I'm lazy and glad you just provided the answers since you knew them already. Too bad I was imagining my own definitions before I found them at the end of the chapter. Domus, tablinum, peristylium, and cubiculum. I see they aren't vulgarities, but my mind filled in risque definitions. I think Lucius wants to stuff his peristylium into Hermione's cubiculum. See?

The plot thickens with nasty, hairy Flavius, and then Lucius thickens, too. When Lucius said,

Hmmmm, another good chapter, very deep and moving I thought. Good Work :D

I think Lucius will look for Steven and kick his ass, or at least scare him half to death in prison. I bet that parchment contains the whereabouts of Steven.

And I bet idiotic Viktor approaches Hermione at the match. Maybe Charlie arranged it and that is why he tells her in his letter to go. If Victor approaches Hermione Lucius will go nuts. To see in person what he could not stand to see in the newspapers, will not end up well.

At some point a frustrated Lucius will slip and Hermione will find out Severus told him about the rape. I would not want to be Severus that day; she is going to break hi jaw for this one.

Perhaps since Severus is the only one that new the entire story, Hermione will confide in him about how she feels about Lucius. Maybe Severus can become the matchmaker for these two.

Oh my, that

Oh dear, after everything Hermione has been through it seems that Lucius is going to have to dig deep for some (gulp) sensitivity and tact. Is he equal to the challenge? I look forward to finding out.

Good writing! I liked Snape, and the way you wrote the hard stuff you had to write was really well done, and shows the depth of openness between Lucius and Snape too. They might not always like each other, but you've made them totally honest with each other. Well done!
(And poor Hermione! Lucius will kiss it and make it all better won't he? ;) )

Dimples are very cute, I agree. Wow, in one chapter you introduced a lot of new information. My head is still swimming around Hermione being raped...Lucius will worm his way into her heart.

good chapter was very pleased to see an update so quickly thank you. Hope Lucius has a wee word with the muggle. will we find out anything else from the past with the other Hermione and Lucius.

Chapter 3: This was a very fierce chapter. Lucius isn't going to give up on Hermione, but he has an exceptionally long way to go to gain her trust. I would have liked to know exactly what punishment Steven got. Was it a Muggle court or Magical? I'm assuming Magical if the rape was viewable - was it by pensieve?

I'm glad Harry and Ginny got their wish to be parents. And I hope Luna isn't in trouble with Hermione for letting Lucius know where she was.

Thank you for letting the reader know that Snape is out of the running on this story. Lucius has his hands full enough without competing with the dark-haired hunk.

It's warming to know that Hermione's friends are all behind her, but I don't understand why Molly couldn't gracefully accept that Hermione wasn't going to pick another of her sons. None of the other sons wanted Hermione so it wasn't that Hermione was making anyone miserable. I hope Molly comes around. It's sad for Hermione to lose Molly's comfort and counsel after the horrific thing that happened to her. Did Hermione talk to her own mother?

This was a strong, if angsty chapter, and I hope Lucius makes some headway. How is the ancient couple getting along?
