Yes, I think you're right, Dumbledore made a huge miscalculation there. Tom is never going to let it lie, is he?

Oh gosh...I hope someone reviews soon....this is really the weirdest thing I have written..I'm sorry but I have a feeling some will consider this pathetic...but I don't. I think it's even possible. I will try to improve it...but Riddle is a psychopath (Jo has said on numerous occasions) and people who are psychopaths act and seem immune to pain. Most 16 yr. old hogwarts students would have cried or gotten more upset....But Riddle managed not to show it.

im not sure i like tthe sound of 'other punishment' i've heard too many horror stories about those, but i've got a feeling of that you're not that machosistic. i hope.

I can imagine that whoever does cane Tom will be in line for some pretty serious revenge later on down the line. Or maybe more immediately than that? Interested to see what happens next.

well, in all his glorious intelligence he certainly is dumb, but hey, aren't all guys when it comes to girls? he had to be normal in one way or another. *grinning*

This is certainly an uncompromisingly callous Tom Riddle, even at sixteen - I always imagine he would have been like this as well - so charming on the surface but all the charm would vanish as soon as he got you alone. Eek.

I'll be very interested to find out more about his relationship with Dumbledore - and how will he react to a caning?! Not well, I suspect! Update soon.

its funny how so many poeple can see voldemort as a teenager, but they cant imagine ever someone putting him in his place.
