I think the story is progressing quite nicely, and that the need for a few lemons/limes/grapefuits is part and parcel to its completion

Love this story...you definately didn't go over the top with this. It is smutty with a limit...nothing too overdone. Tasteful is the work that I am thinking of. I hope you continue it. I think it has great potential. I would love to see it completed in more chapters (with a happy ending..hehe) I shall be looking forward to the next chapter. Toodles...until then!

Ch 9 - Heck no! you didn't go over the top. Hermione is very lucky that she was dumped by Snape...he loves Ginny but has to visit a brothel without her knowledge. He'd be lucky if all she did was castrate him if she found out but then again, maybe that is more Hermione's style. I didn't feel this section of your chapter was out of place. It just re-enforced that Hermione has moved on and is ready for a new interest, Lucius. Hmmm, I'm waiting to see if there is going to be a confrontation between the two wizards though. Severus should not be fixating on Hermione. I perceive a bit of trouble here. Will it destroy their friendship if it happens?

I enjoyed Hermione and Lucius together, especially since she gave him satisfaction as selflessly as he had her. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next update. This story is very compelling.

Chapter 9: I don't mind hearing Severus' thoughts on marriage and the two women he's managed to attract. It makes sense that he would be sexually drawn to the woman who makes him feel that way (everyone knows you can't control that), but he would also have a strong affinity for a female who offered him intellectual stimulation (although from our previous 'peek' into the Snape-Granger marriage, it didn't seem like he was spending much time wallowing in her mind - he was rather standoffish and remote).

All in all, though, it does seems that Snape would like to have his cake and eat it too. But if secret fantasies were known to all - as we are hearing his in this chapter - I suspect a great many of our thoughts would sound exactly like Snape's. I'm mildly disappointed in his infidelity and selfishness mostly for Ginny's sake but not much - she stole Hermione's husband so I haven't much sympathy for her either. This is a Lucius/Hermione love story so I'm perfectly happy for Snape to have a less than angelic persona here. (snicker)

I have faith that Lucius is going to sweep all before him, winning Hermione and showing our 'feet of clay' Snape that he threw away something precious. Snape needs to learn to desire what he has, not yearn for what isn't available. I do think he's mostly horny and apparently he has a high sex drive which is bothering him right now, due to Ginny's pregnancy. I wonder if he will ever want another child knowing now how Ginny will react to sex.

That Lucius has more tricks... He's already found a way to get around his noncorporeal body, using the ol' mutual masturbation ploy. Such a deliciously virile man with a never-ending sexual appetite. I do love a man who verbally directs the sex play.

You have certainly moved into a different league with the frequency and variety of your lemons. Of course, you know from my stories I'm not at all offended. I'm mesmerized. You definitely have a talent for smut. Hot, hot, hot. And you've woven in enough sincere feeling between the two participants to make it more than cold sex. That gives your sex scenes a more intense, caring dimension that elevates their lovemaking to greater possibilities in future chapters.

As of Chapter 9, no, there is not too much sex. It is all an integral part of the story and each scene of lemony goodness has its proper place.

alright thanks to this chapter honey I am thoroughly addicted :D I loved Severus's reflections and that fact he's cheating on the red head whore *snorts* ohh Does he walk in on Lucius/Hermione? :D and I really hope you post this at GE soon I think it would go wonderfully :D
