Hm. She "wants out". Of what exactly? Money extortion, kidnapping, assassination attempts, her great and numerous shaming; the list is endless. She seemed fine with it all and quite arrogant in her righteousness. I'd like to see her try get out.

The performance served Draco well though the layers of so many masks: one for Harry, one for himself, one for Blaise, and the public, he should be near exhausted. But it is time to kick some butt now.

**horror thought** please don't tell me they plan to kidnap the Weaslette-trash and take her anywhere near Malfoy Manor. She shouldn't ever have the pleasure even under such circumstances. But still, it is time for some action! Kidnapping, rescuing, fighting, magic, rage, hoo-rah! And all in the span of just one evening before crushing blows are dealt the next day in court.

Harry's pondering over the cause of headache was adorable, and Draco's ruthless thoughts concerning murder gave me nice fuzzy feeling despite the clash with Harry's conscious.

Action packed. I don't know why but I love the parts with Harry scooping up Ginny and rolling not only in the pub but on the beach. It is just fun to imagine him maneuvering around a big stomach and trying not to smash it to the floor and I pushed the image further and had him throw her a couple of times.

I really love how Draco and Harry work together in this. I imagined that Draco's head tilt to Harry meant, "Well, come on, then."

"Breathing hoarsely, Draco clenched his hands together behind his back. He wanted to destroy her. He thought she deserved, at the very least, to lose the child she was carrying. She had miscarried once, perhaps even deliberately; what would a second time hurt?

Harry would stop him from doing that, of course."

Draco wants to destroy her and I want him to destroy her. It would be so sweet. The fact that he acknowledged that Harry would stop him, made me laugh. It reminded me of ying and yang. Balance of opposites wanting their counterpart to keep them in line. I wonder if sometimes people hope their friends have it in them to stop them from doing something stupid. And it must be nice to know (even though you secretly wish you could do it and get away with it) that you can count on them to at least try.

I hope Kreacher tells her many horrifying stories. ::insert crazy mad Invader Zim laugh here::

I wonder if Ginny will be able to forgive Blaise? I imagine if she can forgive herself then Blaise shouldn't be much of a stretch. They both acted for the same reasons: greed, resentment, bitterness, the sake of their child, etc...And aside from the kidnapping they seem to have been on the same wavelength. Yes, Blaise is quite ruthless but I wonder how much of this personality trait she's actually discouraged. I'm not saying that I even give a care, but I am curious if she will decide that she and he can't work it out or move past this (if Blaise and herself are even alive at the end) and once again she is just walking away from a commitment. Sure she could be afraid of Blaise but I imagine she should be equally afraid of herself in that regard, and she was also afraid of Harry who never intentionally hurt her so maybe she just needs to face her fears a little better rather than always running away. Of course she may not if she wants to get even more audacious and decide to be angry at Blaise, her lover, for trying to off her current husband since they aren't officially split yet.

I don't think anyone would rejoice at a joining between Ginerva and Blaise, and I am not even sure it would be a good thing for society, but they made their shameful bed and should stew in it. There is the baby to think about, and even though we know Ginny and Blaise suck dirt as good people and truly seem to be unfit to be parents, since the law doesn't see their current actions as out of line for this divorce situation...Draco was born to parents many people hated and loathe and he didn't have the relative support of a family like the Weasleys, either. So the possibility that as a family they could still function (even though they will do it in shame, seclusion, and varying destitute ways of life) it can still work.

All that to say, that I don't think it inconceivable even though it would undesirable, unconventional, and unwanted.

Of course, I'd rather Blaise die and Ginny be on the verge of insanity and locked up in St. Mungos.

BTW, thanks for the explanation about why Wizarding divorce is so difficult, but I was more interested in what the law actually said, like how it was phrased. Are cut throat methods actually condoned in words or is it just a loop hole that comes from what is not specifically stated and is as such greatly exploited by Arguers and clients?

Thanks for the update

I hope that Blaise gets his ass royally kicked and Harry and Draco stay safe. I'm not sure what I want to see as Ginny's punishment. How forgiving is Harry?

BAHA! Ok.. This isn't a good situation really. I don't know why I laughed out in triumph there. Perhaps because Ginny lied and Draco was brilliant enough to know better than to trust her at her word. I love how Harry reacted to the whole thing because it was very Harry-like and yet still in keeping with the idea that he has grown up. I still can't get over how fantastically you have aged their characters (even if they aren't actually old, lol) and managed to keep them so true to who they are.

And I was hoping that we'd get to see the spell after all.

Gah now I cannot wait to see what happens. well I couldn't before but I'm still on the edge of my seat! I love how Harry admitted that he wishes he could kill Ginny for Draco. It's something so horrible and yet so meaningful all in one. Weird I guess but I love it!

I'm kind of rambling but anyway... hope you post again soon! This just keeps getting better and better somehow!

great chapter...e-mail addie is: crook_shanks55@yahoo.com...does that help? Can't wait for more! Ginny, what a bitch, why would she say she knew where Narcissa was when she didn't. She's in this up to her neck, with Blaise by her side. I'm wondering if htis will have any outcome on the divorce proceedings. I mean, if the aurors put them behind bars for kidnapping Narcissa, they can't very well defend themselves in divorce court. I would pay to see that! Kate:-)

I satyed up until 4a.m. reading your story, it's very interesting. I love Draco and how you've characterized him...I hate Ginny always have, always will. Harry's is coming back into his own and I thank Draco for that. A very interesting take on Wizarding law...you've done well with this piece! Nicely done, could you add me to your update list?
