I really like the idea of Draco sacrificing his pure blood. :) It seems so appropriate in a way honestly. I don't think I will look at the seventh book the same, no matter what after reading this. At first, I thought he might scrifice love, but then, why would Voldemort want that really... but his blood status seems just, right. I can't explain it, but I love it! :) Thank you so much for sharing this, because sit has been an interesting and fun ride!
I am glad to see that they are learning together, and Harry see's just how much Draco wishes to change and make amends for his past wrongs. :) It's great and I can't wait for the next chapter.

OMG!!! He gave up his pure blood for Harry! Harry who is ashamed to being attracted to Draco! Harry who is afraid of what his friends would do/say. I soooo need chapter 40!

Love it. I am so happy that Draco trusts Harry. And yay, Harry initiated the kiss. I am so happy Harry Kissed Draco. I just hate that Harry worries about what his friends would think. I mean if they are is friends then they should be happy with the decisions that he makes. But you are right, it just can't happen over night. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Whoa!!!!!! I was NOT expecting all that but it was great! :) Damn!!!!!!!!!! I love how he kissed Draco though! SQUEEEEEEEE!!!!!! :P I can't wait for more, poor Draco, running the gamut of his heart!

ahahahah! now Harry's ogling at Draco is a sure indicator. love it!
FINALLY, Harry is beginning to care towards Draco. But the indifference towards Draco, I think, shows something more...it's just a hunch, i guess, but i think Harry didn't bother paying much attention to Draco before because that may be his own way of showing that Draco is "special"...i would like to think of it that way, hehe!
but i do agree...getting Harry is HARD for Draco, especially after all the things that happened to them. turning the heart around is not as easy as it seems anyway.
wow...i wonder if Lucius did kill himself. it's just so hard to imagine...i mean, he's so full of himself (if not, where would Draco get the attitude anyway?). he's so in love with himself that he wouldn't even dare scratch his skin just because it might do some damage.
can't wait for the next chapter! hope you post soon. *gets some cookies and gulps them with tea*

Chapter 37--OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!! Was so totally NOT expecting the "Lucius committed suicide" routine!!!!!! WHAT???? Oh jesus, Draco! Harry needs to hold him or something! Tell Ron and Hermione to leave, and then just hold my blonde baby!
Narcissa murdered...at the BEGINNING of Draco's sixth year???? That'll be explained, I assume. I mean, Draco had JUST been assigned his task, so would the Dark Lord have had her killed so early? And THAT was rather out of left field. Wasn't the date on the tapestry? Hmmmm....but I guess Lucius' name wasn't on the tapestry, since he wasn't a Black. So we have no idea about him, even though we know that Narcissa is dead and Bella is still alive.
HOLY SHIT THIS WAS A GREAT FREAKIN CHAPTER!!!! I can't wait for them to get together, and I'm just itching for it now! You gotta know that! I just want Harry to hold Draco about his parents. I mean, Harry knows what it's like to lose parents, so he'd be more sympathetic, right? *scream* Can't wait for the update!

'Memoirs of a Serpent's Son' has got to be one of the most amazing Harry Potter fics l've ever read(and l've gone through a lot:)). I'm so happy by the fact that, although many characters have been included, this is ultimately Draco's fic, which is something hard to find. There is nothing anyone could suggest to make this story better.(Except get to the sex!!!)
