what a shock to poor draco. now he still has family after getting used to not having one. i understand their reasoning for doing thins the way they had.

loved the howler though.

now if they could just fit draco in more to their plans, he is trying and doing very well.

Chapter 42--WOO HOO AN UPDATE! What's so special about Moody? I'm guessing that's something "from the books". I know he turned my Draco into a ferret (for that, I hex you, Moody! *hex* HA! Take that!) Poor baby!

*squeak* DRACO MEETS TONKSY! AUGH! Ohhh, I love his reaction! Well, I don't LOVE it, but I *love* it! Of course, I just want him to be okay and everything to be sunshine and roses between him and Harry, but I *LOVE* his reactions! SO PERFECT and SO HIM!

POTTER IS THE MASTER OF MIXED SIGNALS!!!!!! THAT IS TOO FUCKING GREAT! *dies from greatness* I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE THIS SENTENCE! (The only thing that could've made it better is if Draco said "Merde" after it...because him speaking French is fucking bloody gorgeous, sexy, and HOT!)

I agree with Draco's statement: Potter here IS the master...no...the god of mixed signals! I also liked the howler part. It was really funny. I was imagining how it would play out when I read it.

By the way, did you put the howler part because it is meant to be "the calm before the storm"? Or did you just throw it there for some comic relief?

Anyway, it was a brilliant idea that Draco and Harry shares a connection through their being an orphan. It shows how only Harry can understand Draco the best when it comes to losing someone important in an unexpected and tragic circumstance. Tonks still lives, and there are things that only part of your family can understand, but it is still different to know that the person you trust has been through what you're going through - in this case, losing your own parents without your knowledge.

...Obviously, this connection will lead to a deeper kind of relationship. Well, it will definitely help with settling their differences anyway, since now they are, more or less, equal. Both orphans, both not purebloods (since Draco gave it up), and both not knowing (as cheesy as it sounds) the power of love.


Anyway, great job with the chapter...although I must admit it was definitely shorter than the previous ones. Hope you would update soon!

...well, I just love Draco's reason - that Harry is very very foolish, stupid, selfish for the motion of 'not getting close for protection' - you know, even they died or may die because of Harry...however, they did die on their own choices, own willingness! Draco should really lock some sense into Harry's mind - (1) that Harry does deserve to be upheld, protected and made sacrifice for, not only for him, our love for him, but also for the whole lot others...(2) we have made our own choices of the way we die...

Have you seen Spiderman2 before? I particularly liked that serial movie as...spiderman girlfriend (just forgot...) made a choice of staying with him for all costs...even there is danger, we know it, but we are willing to take it...the challenge...it is our choice and decision but not spiderman or Harry...

So if ever possible, I hope this Draco could make Harry understand...yes, it is his decision to distance and protect us...but we...knowing all the threats and danger, still willing to stay put for everything, even for the sacrifice, we have made our choices! With such a firery, pride, equally-stubborn, self-centered Draco, maybe he really can open Harry's shell and make him see sense...as you know...fighting and argument is part of their communication and interaction (but wouldn't this make lovers tired more?).

BTW, I just love how puppy and 'pure' Harry's responses of closeness towards Draco...after all, if I am not mistaken (even though this are mainly Draco's POV)...Harry does lack experience with affection, intimacy and likeness...
