I spent all week trying to catch up on your story cause I was waiting on Yaoi gallery for you to post what happens next for like a month, then I bothered to read your profile page and got my arse over here to read and I love love love loved it. You have to continue. I gotta know what happens later on in their life. So please do a sequel.

Ok to start off, you are the best fanfic writer I have ever seen! You don't let anything get in the way of what should happen to push things along! That is the best thing ever. You have a beautiful way with words. I've never felt that moved by a story before and it was wonderful! You pegged Draco down so well and it was all very well planed out. I loved every minute of it, even the sad parts. I cried so much as if it was the real book I was reading! I screamed and laughed and cried along with every character. You are brilliant and I can't wait to read the other things that you have written. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful and imaginative mind!

omg! so, i don't usually read HP fanfic, i usually haunt naruto mostly, but what with the movie and the book coming out, and my 4-yr-old finally becoming obsessed with watching the DVDs these past couple weeks, i was attacked with the NEED for HP/DM ficcage! and a friend of mine asked me if i'd read this yet so i just HAD to check it out because i've had a severe attack of draco obsession (can you blame me??!!) and couldn't resist reading the books in his perspective!
so, on to the actual review!! it's been wonderful! i wish i could have reviewed every chapter, or at least every "book" seriously! but i just hadn't the time *sigh* but it was lovely. of course, the earlier books passed by quickly, but i greatly appreciated the interjection of, not only draco's perspective on harry, but himself and the onslaught of puberty LOL! and being able to read/see draco's maturation mentally as well, in the things he believes because he's told to, in his own feelings or confusion about things, slowly coming to terms with his hormones and, eventually, love for harry (however tormenting at first). and, of course, books 5 and 6 were great turning points for him. his "voice" in the journal became more mature than it had been previously, as the expectations put on him became even more glaringly obvious and demanding, warring with his own desires and the knowledge that what he really wanted didn't matter
i love the details put into draco's perspective for books 5 and 6 (and beyond, of course!), especially 6 since it's true that, as much of a "presence" as draco is in the original, because of harry's stalking, we really don't see WHAT he's doing until the end, so i loved everything you put into that!!
and of course, everything after dumbledore's death was simply amazing, it was a crazy, emotional, long, twisted ride and i loved every minute of it, through the laughter and the tears (and there were TEARS!!) and, of course, the smut! ahhh, i can have no complaints about how extremely detailed and specific draco's journaling became, when i get to read sex like theirs ^__^
as for all the work and imagination and... LOGIC really, that you put into all the magic and blood magic, soul magic, blood lines and weaknesses; how they found and destroyed the horcruxes, who was involved, who was injured or killed, and HOW, it was bloody brilliant... other than the perspective and first person, i could really see all this happening in the ACTUAL book, yknow?? 'twas greatness! and i loved the way you did neville's death.. though it was sad, because i love him too, i too believe it was the best way for him, and have always imagined and hope for a similar end for him in book 7--dying a hero on his own terms, fighting alongside everyone *wipes tears* and as for the final battle, it was lovely, though you really did worry me that draco was dead as soon as i realized in the first paragraph of 72 that it was harry writing... but that was good too--i'm a sucker for angst and suspense, me and my sadomasochistic self i suppose :p i'm also a sucker for the happy ending, though, so i'm ecstatic how it did end. brava
well, i rarely have time lately to leave such a long review like this, though it's my norm when i DO have the time.. so.. i'm glad i had the time! this fic so deserves it!! and i'm glad you were able to finish before book 7. congrats. and i would LOVE to see a sequel with all the real aftermath and (hopefully) moving on/rebuilding after the war... not only draco being brought up by the ministry (and cleared! >.> ), but how will this affect the muggle world, and the havoc between muggles and wizards after all voldemort brought about? what about dudley and petunia? did they die in the attack on Gringotts? what happened with all those attacks voldemort sent out as a distraction anyway? does draco know yet the explanation about harry's comments about being part slytherin and the sorting hat trying to put him in slytherin first?? and was he ever told the whole prophecy about harry, other than the "neither can live while the other survives" bit? or why harry was whispering mournfully to the mirror before they went to the deathly hallows? hmm, so many things i wonder! so i do hope, after reading DH and having a well deserved rest, you do come back and give us a sequel!
much love! you deserve it, you accomplished a great feat with this undertaking! i love your perspective of draco's perspective :p and i know there's much more i wanted to comment on, and could probably go on forever, but i'm afraid i'll have to end this here as my time grows short again and i'm rather tired :p

Well, look at that! It's finally done. I still remember back months ago, when this story was only twelve chapters long. Congrats on finally finishing this monster. It was awesome.
