Heartbreaking stuff!! Poor little Hedwig! And of course, poor Harry!! You really know how to make me hate those Dursleys more and more, first with your other story, but especially with this one. I've always felt that Harry carries around a lot of survivor's guilt, so I liked how you incorporated that into the scene, showing how Harry feels responsible in some ways for all the death that surrounds him. Excellent start, hun, and I can't wait to read more!

good lord this is brutal! You're a very good writer, because there's a million fics hat start out this way and none have effected me quite as much as this one. Can't help wanting more story and Snape! lol, thanks

I like the beginning part however Harry would have done magic (even by accdent when Hedwig was going to be hurt or when raped) he wouldn't have been able to stop that. Speacially Hedwig.But none the less I like this story I would ask you to PLEASE not do one of thouse storys though where his friends turn against him.

awww, I love it already. I'm in love with Harry's character, I hope you don't abandon this, like so many authors do if they don't get a certain amount of reviews or whatever. You're writing style is very sophisticated and refreshing, and I'll be very distressed if you don't update.
