Excellent chapter Petal! Such a shame that Harry distracted Lucius from giving Pansy a proper punishment. I really enjoy that he still has his mean streak about him, it makes him more of an interesting character than if he got all soft on us :) but I guess the distraction was for the best, it certainly kept Lucius from getting too carried away in the moment and having sex with her, it would have broken his character hehe.
You're still holding out on Draco returning! it's so mean :( Ohh well, guess there has to be something to look forward to.

I forgot to mention, great move in having Hermione give Ginny a dowry as a gift, I'll be honest, I had to look the word up, but it makes perfect sense, especially if I'm guessing correctly about who Ginny's potential partner is! Not a common pairing, but one that I really look forward to seeing, and the Dowry was the perfect way to bridge the 'Class Gap'. I don't want to say too much just incase I'm right :)

hmm. could the Coutn be THE one for ginny? would be an intresting twist. how fun a ball, everyone dressed all fancy and seing as how the last time they were all together they were .. yaknow at war and stuf. my mind tingles with what Draco must be doing on his "errand" is that just his lame excuse to arrive fashionably late? *Sigh* your story is an addiction.
