I love it. It really sucks that I don't live in London, cause I am dying to see that play. I heard it was supposed to be really good, and it had really great reviews on it. But I'm glad I read your story, so I was able to imagine what the story is all about.

Woooooow. That was very enrolling. I chose 'enrolling' bcause it was able to really evoke thought and emotion through pure dialogue--which isn't an easy thing to do--and do so simply and believably. My heart shattered when Harry spoke about Draco's rape; it was so moving and heart-wrenching.

I agree with you on your after-notes on Equus; that Dan is a person and the primary reason he performed Equus (which is--as you say--not only dark and surreal, but also extremely violent and explicit) was because he wanted people to know that he can step outside of the quote "Harry Potter box" and do whatever it takes to entertain; that he's up for it and won't swim in the comfort zone of his HP image.

I would love to see him do more comedy! Dan is actually quite the comedian, from what I've seen. The dark, angsty, stage-play stuff is great--nevermind him having a sexy bod--but I prefer laughter over dark insanity anyday. I'd love to see the play, though. I've never seen Equus live. I wonder if anyone here is doing a rendition.
