Another good chapter as always. You've got me wondering though. In most of your stories that I've read Rudi seems to be in his 50's or 60's. Is that cannon or are you like me and the the thought of a sexy older man just makes you tingle?

I think Ginny and Severus will get a surprise if their two gests want to get back at them for the matchmaking. Considering Hermione is very intelligent and Rudi is a Slithering that plan should be interesting.

Chapter 1: I know Hermione loved Ron, but it's so sad, her crying for him every night for ten years.

Why did Mrs. Johnson know to call Hermione Mrs. Weasley when you said no one knew? I'm confused.

Question of semantics - is the British English term 'draw' for the drawers in a bureau? I've seen this a couple of times and wondered. (The American term is drawer.) I'm always curious about the differences between the two languages. At times I catch myself spelling words the British way and have to fix it. I decided long ago to just stick with my American spellings even though the story takes place in England. I wouldn't be able to do everything correctly, including idioms and different terms for the same thing (like 'ladders' in a stocking instead of a 'run') so I'm staying with what I know.


So Rudi is stinking rich? I didn't know their family had so much money.

Severus and Ginny seem so relaxed and settled and their little 'discussion' was snarky while showing their solidarity as a couple. and I never cared about the age difference with Lucius and Hermione. The age difference between Rudi and Hermione is just as unimportant to me seeing as how the magical people live so much longer than Muggles.

Hermione keeps the secret of her marriage ten years, then tells the entire magical community in one swoop? Hmmm.

But Snape as matchmaker was terrific. He seemed a natural for the job, methodical, sneaky, and he knows both people well. His little ointment trick worked. I hope he doesn't get booed for his performance with his son. Where did the name Jolyon come from?

I didn't think it possible when I read the first Rudolpho/Hermoine story that I would like that pairing. I was wrong, absolutely wrong, I enjoy it very much and I will look forward to see more of your story, it had a great first chapter and I'll look forward for more!!!
