I love your plot, but I wouldn't have skipped through the chapters so fast if you used other pronouns besides "she". Good story, though c:

Hermione Malfoy,
Hey there! I just got into the Hermione/Rodolphus pairing. I must confess I've always wanted to read fics about this pairing, but I never got the courage to until now.
Besides ex-Death Eaters Lucius, Draco, and Regulus (I'm not too fond of Hermione/Severus pairings, no offense; I just never got into it)and the Dark Lord himself, Tom Riddle a.k.a. Voldemort, I could definitely see Hermione with Rodolphus.
I don't think I could stomach McNair, Avery, Dolohov, or some other cannon Death Eater, though. It would be way too dark for me, in my opinion. Well, sorry for going off on tangent here!
So to continue with the actual review: I absolutely love the story you have here, girl. It's really and very interesting, wonderful, brilliant, funny, hilarious, lovely, and fantastic.
I just wish you will update! You haven't updated since last year. I think you should definitely continue this story because you need to see this through to the end; not just for your readers and reviewers, but for yourself most of all!
I would really love to see what will to happen to Hermione and Rodolphus and how their relationship will start to un-fold further. I really love the way you're portraying Hermione and Rodolphus actually. Rodolphus is not mentioned all that much in the books, which is quite a pity.
For one, I would love to see what his character is truly like besides the obvious one of him following, being loyal to, and consorting with Voldemort. I'm not one to give criticism to an author on a character I, and many other Harry Potter fans, hardly know and that is hardly mentioned in the books.
Henceforth all us Harry Potter fans actually DON'T know what Rodolphus is truly like, so why criticize you for the way you're portraying him anyway? It doesn't make any sense to do that, in my opinion. Therefore, I believe your portrayal of Rudi is just brilliant, awesome, and marvelous. (I love the nickname you gave him, by the way). *winks*
I also really love the way you're portraying Severus, Ginny, and their son, Jolyon. I don't think Severus is out of character at all; and even if he is, who cares? I'm glad that he's happy, that he has Ginny and Jolyon, and that he's playing matchmaker for Hermione and Rodolphus. Snape deserves happiness in his life after all J.K. put him through and did to him in the books! Besides, it IS very Slytherin of him to act like this; it's very cunning, sly, and sneaky of him. ~_^
Ginny is just fantastic. I always love it when she plays matchmaker for Hermione. I think it's very like Ginny to do that and she really cares for Hermione a lot; therefore, I love the way you wrote her. As for Joylon, he's just so cute, adorable, and so mischievous! I like how he likes Hermione and wants to marry her when he grows up. *chuckles* That was very funny and cute to read; hehehehe.
Childhood crushes, indeed, lol. They're quite inevitable and endearing in a way. I've had my share of them as well, lol.
Lastly, Hermione is just absolutely magnificent as well. The way you're writing her is very spot-on and I love it, so keep it up. ~_^ I read your profile and she's my favorite character and heroine as well! I'm so glad you love her, too. ^_^
By the way, I love Jane Austen and her books. That's why I'm glad you're incorporating her style of writing into your writing; it's great and intriguing, in my opinion. ~_^
Well, this review is long enough as it is, so I better finish. However, I really did mean everything I wrote in this little review. Also, I'm a very elaborate person, henceforth I tend to write very long reviews. *chuckles* ~_^
Again I really do hope you'll update this story sometime soon. I would love to see what will happen in the next chapter and what will happen overall. I'll sit here and wait eagerly yet patiently until you DO decide to update. ~_^ You go, girl. Rock on! ^_^
With very warm and high regards,
Vera-Sabe

This looks rather interesting.
I have never seen this pairing before and its a compelling start to a story.

Chapter 2: First to answer a bit of your reply (and thank you for that), it's interesting about the slight difference in the term drawer vs. draw. If I heard someone in England say it, I'd likely never hear the difference, just assuming they were saying the same word I use. I, of course, use the term "Mom" instead of "Mum" but I'd try to use the English term in my Potter stories (if I remembered) because that word is VERY geographically targeted. But I might stay away from it altogether and just use "Mother". To set your mind at rest, I don't think I've ever heard anyone in my life use the word "prideful". It may be a word used in novels but not anywhere I live. We use "proud" too. (I am not a proponent of the word "prideful" either.)

So - It seems everyone has an interest in Rudi and Hermione's evening. Mrs. Johnson, then Ginny, and even Snape arriving before Rudi can even get out of bed. Wow! Matchmakers to the right of us... Matchmakers to the left of us...
Jolyon wasn't very nice to Hagrid and his attitude toward the half-giant showed bad manners, but I can't believe Snape is weak when it comes to Jolyon. I can't imagine
Ginny would stand for that behavior either. Jolyon needs some down time. Perhaps some nice hang time in a pair of dungeon manacles. I hope he doesn't disrupt the dinner. So far he appears to be an unappealing brat. Does he have a good side beyond his good taste in women?
At least Rudi and Hermione are plotting about the dinner. That means they've got something in common bringing them together.
Thanks for the update. What's for dinner? 8-)
