I knew Hermione could kick Lucius' cute little ass in that fight. But Fleur as a spy...was so not expecting that. Well done, Fantasy.

Ch. 8 - Wow. Very dramatic chapter and we find the truth out now. And what will happen now? Cannot wait to see.

Chapter 9: Hmmm, this Nickolai sounds like he might give Lucius a run for his money, especially since the Senior Malfoy is currently in the doghouse with everyone.

OMG Hermione is dressed to kill! I hope not literally. What an outfit! It's kickass, and that sounds just like what Hermione plans to do to Lucius. I really need to know WHY he separated from her. There must be a reason besides him merely being evil. It can't be anything simple or he would have told everyone why he acted as he did.

Molly Weasley looks like she's really going to the dogs - or to the Dark Lord (same thing).

I'm relieved you told us this would be a Lucius/Hermione story. I can sit back and relax now. I don't mind a bumpy ride at all. I stick plenty of potholes in my own stories. Thanks for reassuring us. I'm eager to read the next chapter - for several reasons.

Chapter 8: So - you're increasing the heat on Mama Weasley, huh? Ah, that's right, Molly had those books by Lockhart, didn't she?

Well, there's one rat in the woodpile rooted out. Are there any more? Such damage to Hermione and her parents - and the result was just the opposite of what was wanted by the rat, OotP will fall apart, instead of just being rid of Hermione. What goes around, comes around.

BUT (throws self on the floor and drums heels in a childish tantrum) I want to know what happened to make Lucius behave the way he did. That intake of breath we heard beside Draco was Lucius. Was he reacting to Hermione telling of three weeks of torture and beatings? Or something else? Does Hermione know consciously that Lucius has severed their tie? It seems as though she must. What will her reaction be to him now? And his to her? And most of all - WHY DID HE DO IT? The Lucius lover in me can't believe he acted from selfish motives.

I need to know the answers to these vital questions. My heels hurt and I don't want to have to throw another tantrum at the end of the next chapter. But I will, if I have to. You've been warned!!

i have been waiting for this chapter for a while and it was worth it! boy poor hermione, poor ginny. stupid-stupid lucius!!!!! well i really want to know what will happen between lucius and hermione and i really do wish that you will update soon and let us know!! :)

you really don't like molly do you and from your story i hate her too.

hey glad that you updated, i was thrilled and i do hope that you have another chapter coming soon! i really would like to know what will happen to both lucius and hermione and will it truely work to sever them or just make things worse? let us know soon!! :)

Chapter 7: What an amazing new twist! The course of action set by Lucius seems so selfish and insensitive. But I do wonder what exactly caused Lucius to make his decision? It can't have been just a cowardly wish to escape his connection. If he is getting too involved with Hermione it makes some sense to protect her by severing their bond so she isn't in Voldemort's sights. If Voldie homes in on the Eredita group through Lucius' weakness for her that could be a disaster. Lucius was willing to dare the unknown effects of severing the bond to protect the group, I bet. And he's taking it in the shorts as badly as Hermione is - but no one is seeing his reaction. Poor Lucius...

Fascinating new element. Who else might want to sever their bond? And what's up with Remus and his bondmate?
