27: Another fantastic chapter! I can completely feel both Hermione and Draco's pain, sadness, and anger. Finding out what happened to everyone he previously knew was fantastic, yet sad. Meeting Pansy and his innocent question was just brilliant. His short venture to Diagon Alley and his decision to leave it all behind was poignent but bittersweet. I'm looking forward to the next chapter and this is a great birthday gift to Draco! =)

Good chapter Pennilyn!! I really enjoyed the recap, and I can't wait to see if Hermione and Draco manage to get a happy ending.

that was heart-wrenching....they are both back to being lost, completely lost without each other. Hermione knows it, how before Draco realizes it? How long before he realizes he can't be without her? WOW, amazing how Draco Malfoy is so different from Damien King. Where will their paths lead them now....gotta go stop crying again. *shakes fist at you*

Wow, Penny! Great chapter....and I can see why it was hard to imagine everyone's eventual history, postwar. Can't wait for the rest. I know you'll solve the problem of how to bring Draco to life. :D

That was a wonderful chapter. The misery that the both of them feel is incredibly heartbreaking. I love your story and hope you update sooner than the last chapter. I can't wait .

Thanks for updating! This is probably my most-anticipated fic right now.
I do love the angst, and hope Hermione comes up with a way to talk to Draco about why she abandoned him.

It's practically worth the wait when we know we're going to get a chapter this good and once again, this was brilliant. As soon as I saw that you'd updated I caught my breath and felt the need to be teary - I knew this was going to be a tough one. And it was - I cried reading what Hermione was going through even though I knew it was coming. I think a little piece of my heart broke for her. I sure hope Ginny takes the lead and goes and sorts Draco out and makes him hear Hermione's explanation - I wouldn't expect anything less from her. Of course, what you will do is another thing altogether. LOL
And as for Draco - loved the insight into what he was thinking and feeling and how everything comes back to understanding why Hermione did what she did even though he wants so badly to hate her for it. The icing on the cake was him going into Flourish and Blotts and running into Pansy and beginning to realise exactly what the aftermath of the war was really like. OMG I can't wait to see where this goes next. Kudos once again. :)

Okay Pennilyn. I know it takes a while to compose, edit and polish writing of this caliber, but it's been over a month. You're killing me, here!

I just read this all in one go and I was absolutely riveted to the monitor the entire time. It is truly a wonderful story and I have enjoyed it very much. you asked if we wanted a happy ending or angst and I want to put my vote in for a happy ending. I would like to see them both end up happy and free after so much tragedy. I can't wait to see what you do with the rest of this fic.
