Up to Chapter 5 - I am enjoying this story very much. The way things start out is surprising and the affinity the two characters have for each other, while not a pairing I would think of usually, does build nicely. Looking forward to more chapters. Good job!

why don't they pull the money they have together and buy a house, or if not Harry and Snape could remodel Spinners End, I'm sure dobby would love to serve Harry.

I like this. From the summary I thought it would be something corny, but I actually like it.
So does the Wizarding World have a homophobia thing? Or is it just Harry's friends?
Also, Hermione is a muggle-born and a clear-thinking person, would she really not be friends with Harry just because he's gay?
Or is it the subject of who he's with? Harry did say that Ron caught him with a certain issue of Play Witch, the one that Sev was in. Did his friends abandon him because he's got a thing for Sev?

Whew! That was one hot ending to a chapter! But it was also very bittersweet.
I've really enjoyed what I've read so far, and I like how you haven't made Dumbledore the "bad guy". I've read several fics where Harry and Severus are rejected by everyone and that never really seemed plausible. Sirius, Ron, and a few others I can understand, but I think some characters are wise enough to embrace love in all its forms - especially Dumbledore.
I hope you plan on updating soon because I'll be looking for more!

Albus is such an asshole, if they return to Hogwarts it should be on their terms, Harry should get to be with Severus. Severus needs to beat the crap out of Sirius, i'd slip that jerk a potion so that he would never be able to gain an erection again.
