Emotive, Counting Crows??? i thought the song was called 'Pet' and was by 'A Perfect Circle'. i just recently found their music and some of their songs are bloody brilliant (and some such major arse...). its "counting bodies like sheep..." ^__^

I wasn't sure what to make of this story at first, but I am glad I continued. This is brilliant story and the smut is excellent and hot. :) I can't wait to read more.

i had planned on reviewing when i'd read all the posted chapters but i have so much to say that if i did wait, i'd have enough to complete a small novel. so i thought i'd put some of my thoughts down now. first of all, this is excellent work. as a story and as a piece of writing. as a fellow writer i can see that you take this craft very seriously. you seem to want to give justice to the characters and to the plot. i feel as though you've given every writing decision deep consideration. the characters are so well done. there's no words for how en pointe they are. they're not just kids doing grownup things. they're actually adults making their way in the world. the relationships have changed accordingly but there's no mistaking that they're still the best of friends who know one another through and through. and what's more is that they're still changing as time goes on and still learning about one another. i especially loved ron's charcter, who many writers forget about or some up as the cliche side kick with no real thought process of his own. you've written him as a person in his own right, not an incompentent baffoon who makes harry look good. and draco... he's perfection. he's still draco, only altered by his experiences as people often are. you don't write him as light smothered by darkness... he's simply gray like everyone else. i really liked the bit about harry's resenting malfoy for killing voldermort. it makes sense considering everything harry was put through to prepare him for that ultimate showdown. murdering that bastard was the prize bull for all his pain... it's easy to forget that he's not the only one voldermort made suffer. harry was simply the public face for the suffering. as for the plot i think it's cool and well rounded that you haven't dismissed half blood prince like so many others. you dont change rowling's reality to suit your needs. you bend to make it work. i feel as though you really want to do justice to that world. you avoid cliches by addressing original issues. i love draco's feelings on harry. so atypical to what you usually find for his reasons for hating harry. it gives both draco and the story such depth. and your writing style can only be decribed as tight. which is good. lol. every word is thought out and has purpose. this story involves nothing that doesn't help point in the direction of the plot. it stays focused and organized, unfolding as needed. it doesn't feel rushed nor weighed down with unnecessary details.... well look at that. i wrote a novella after all. (sigh) in short, this excellent work and demands my respect as a writer and a fan. well done.

wow. this is so incredible. while i'm happy for our boys, i'm scared for them too. this whole warrent thing and the gatherer. i love the flow of conversations. it's so natural and the changes in mood are paced right. i can literally the characters talking in my head. i found it amusing the contrasting opinions the british magical ministry have of the american magical ministry and vice versa. both considering the other incompentent. you've done a really great job of expanding their world and making it a real place to live in. looking soooo forward to the next update. oh yeah, i'm glad you didn't just jump right into intercourse as soon as our boys started getting physical. patience does a lot for pacing and the story's realism. though i'll be jumping for joy when you do get to it. lol
