First off, the opening line (word) to this story was perfect! I loved how you jumped right into the action. I hadn't read the warnings before beginning this story, so I found it very suspenseful as I was worried about the fate of one, or both, memberes of our duo during their imprisonment. Your Lucius was deliciously evil, yet still had love for his wife. The time spent in the cell was interesting. Liked the wandless magic and the exercise regime. And I loved that the two of them grew so close and planned so carefully, they had non verbal signals to clue each other in on what to do. Great story!

Jules, that was lovely! Two things: "unceremoniously" (you have "unceremonious"), and "closer than Hermione to release" (you have "that"). I particularly like how you wove Muggle medicine into the plot, and the hopeful future for both Narcissa and Severus. The dungeon episode was realistic-feeling, and the action was beautifully drawn, as were your characters. :D

Hey, Jules! All of my other daily commitments got shoved aside so I could read your new story. It was terrific. I loved the way they became friends and how they worked together to escape when the time came, and I loved that while Lucius was a bastard, he still loved his wife. It's a clever touch to make him human, and look, you kept Severus alive!!!

I really loved this. It was a great take on what happens after Half Blood Prince. I liked the interweaving of Muggle medicine with Wizard Medicine, we saw a bit of that in OOTP with Arthur and his stitches. Anyway, I thought this was very well written and I enjoyed every second of it. Superb job!

Good story. DM/HG stories are difficult to make believable but this well done. Nice dialogue too.
