Although in my mind there is no being ON EARTH more divine than Jason Isaacs as Lucius, I admit I always hear it as Lu-shus, not Lu-see-us. That aside, I really liked this chapter even without the lemons. I like how he so firmly came to Hermione's defense instead of sitting back and letting himself be fought over like an egotistical jerk. All in all, I really love this story. Please update soon!

Finally! I love all your stories and this new one is great but it really was refreshing to see Hermione and Lucius interact outside the bedroom and fighting. In regards to your 'Lucius' A/N it is generally Lu' shus, but Jason Isaacs plays Lucius with a slight Sloany accent which means all the words come out kind of tight

First - enjoying this story greatly. Fun to read and interesting to delve into the characters thought processes -this always appeals to me when done as well as you have here.
Second- as to the pronunciation of these old wizarding names. My take on it goes like this: The wizarding world is so archaic that it harkens back to the time when the Romans invaded and occupied half of the isle. This is probably where many of their names came from (traditional, familial names from Roman times). Therefore, names would be pronounced using all letters, so it would be Loo-see-us, rather than the Loo-shus of the Anglo-Saxon type where 'cious' is 'shus' when said.

It is actully pronounced Loo See Us... Looshus is the american way to pronounce but trust me; Romans would have pronounced it as Loo See Us... I like that way better anyway, as, to me, it's sexier!

Also, interestingly, Lucius is a character in Batman Begins and he's a good guy; played by the ultra sexy Morgan Freeman.

It was also the first name of a Roman Emperor that came from Africa and was Black and his full name was Lucius Septimus Severus... that Emperor is better known as Severus though.

Oh, and what IS a Condo? Is it what we in England call an Flat or a Semi Detached House or what? Just wondering that's all!

Great chapter. I love the fact that Hermione was showing signs of jealousy. Could that be care? I think so! I think, though, that the tables should be turned and Lucius should get to see Hermione with an ex to... Just to prove he's not the only one with a past!

Thanks for updating. Quite an interesting afternoon out with the Malfoy's. I'm glad Lucius stood up for Hermione, and I'm glad she didn't exactly sit idly by either.

I've always heard it pronounced Lu-shus, until Chamber. But I've since heard it pronounced Lu-seus. I say Lu-shus, maybe because its so close to luscious, which is what he is.
