At first I was a little leery of Hermione having an iPod, but she does strike me as the type to listen to oldies. Heh, she must have it really bad to be doodling his name; I haven't done that since I fell in like with a kid in my karate class in 4th grade.

I dunno if I've said this before, but I really like the way you show Lucius's internal struggle in gradually accepting Hermione for all she is, rather than having him make an instant transformation from dark and brooding to lovey-dovey. Also, your regular updates help.

Yes, the poor thing is in emotional quicksand called Hermione. I think by the end of this story, she will succeed in her task of loving her husband and having him accept her love in return. I love how he reacts to her action and the fact that she gives him what he needs, even when he does not know that he needs it. I also love how she is getting information about Lucius via Snape through Ginny. That is a very ingenious transmission of information. Again, great new chapter -- I cannot wait to read more about their slow (and realistic) marriage and eventual happiness within their forced relationship.

Damn you're speedy! That's wonderful! I just love seeing a new chapter every few days. I find it amusing that Hermione is slowly infiltrating Lucius' home with muggle objects. I certainly hope though that she doesn't bring a television into their happy abode. I feel that after watching a couple of episodes of "Gilligans Island" and the "Brady Bunch," I think he'd probably dislike muggles even more than he already does and be compelled to spank her -- hard! hahaha


But anyway, great chapter! Please update soon and judging by the way you write, it probably will be very soon. Thank you!

IPOD! I got this image in my mind of Lucius sneaking a listen to her ipod when she's supposed to be away, and ending up dancing through the house until she arrives home and catches him... What would he say at that point? ahem... I just wanted to make sure you don't have any songs that could be deemed inapropriate in that contraption... clearing throat, hands her device, and walks away acting oh so savvy!!! ROFLMAO!!! Too cute!!! Just too cute!

I have been following your story closely and I have read all of your other stories. You have a real talent for making the reader visualise what is happening. I really like that Lucius and Hermione work at their relationship and everything is not sunshine and daisies.

Hermione doodles Lucius name to past the time? What a coincidence, I do that too! Ha,ha. AWHHhh, the girl must really be in love. I bet if Hermione went to her own bedroom to sleep at night. Lucius would be asking her back into his bed before her head hit the pillow. I think he would miss her warm body tucked under him at night.
There is nothing I like better than turning on my computer in the morning and finding out you have added a new chapter. Thanks so much!

What a brilliant idea! I always find that I forget half of what I'm going to say when I finally get down to the review. Then I'll start writing something and think, heck was that this chapter or the last one because I always go back and speed read the previous chapter before reading the current one...it prolongs the enjoyment.

That silly man is certainly fighting the inevitable. I think something is going to have to happen that causes Hermione to storm off or take a nice long stay at Harry's, Hogwarts or something similar so Luius can realize that he needs her although he may not want to. Or a little jealousy might be the catalyst. Or she may get an offer from someone that would entail her working closely with another wizard on a problem...I need her to stop shopping and lunching and do something constructive with that formidable brain. Oh the possibilities are wonderful. Whatever you decide will be perfect as usual, I'm looking forward to your decision.

Oh more please! That was so wonderful...best Hermione and Lucius I have ever read. I think you just have this innate talent to capture Lucius at his very best-so delicious and so devious. Sigh. He's definitely my favorite character, which is followed by Severus so you can bet I was tickled pink when I saw Severus with Ginny. I love that pairing and it's so hard to find. Well, I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment so I think I'll go read your completed H/L fic! Ciao!
