Awww, at the risk of making LM mad, this chapter is so SWEET! There is no denying that they are taking care of each other and that LM recognizes that HM is in for the long haul. p

Obviously Lucius is scared since he ALMOST let himself care and be cared for by another. It is very sad. I am surprised that Hermione has let him wallow so long though. p

If Lucius teased Hermione for crying when she was happy, I'm afraid that he would not be able to stand me as I cried a few times reading this. Absolutely loved this story. You did not make it too easy for LM, which it should have not been with his past. Great chapter. p

Poor Lucius. For someone who does not want to be known as sweet, he surely is sooo sweet. Perfect ending to this part of their lives. Excellent story! Thanks for sharing it. p

So typical. Once she gives in (as far as he knows), all of his "inbred" manners are gone out the window. He doesn't even bother to pull her chair out for her. He should really ask her (or even accuse her) of what he thinks she is doing so that maybe they can put part of their baggage back in the closet where it belongs. Great story even though it is painful to read what these two are doing to each other. p

There were no surprises where Lucius is concerned really. Hermione should know better than to tease someone that she admittedly does not know well AND who seems to be easily offended. Wonder why he is not helping her with her finances since they were tied to each other for life. Anyway, I'm looking forward to them chipping away at the walls that are currently separating them. p

So glad that Hermione is sharing her insecurities with Lucius as he will no longer feel powerless and as though she holds all the cards. It is nice to see the way he does not want to share her. p

This is my favorite chapter so far. I love that he feels safe enough with Hermione to give up some of his need for total control. And she is becoming more verbal about her intentions and needs. Loved it. p
