Oh dear, what wonderful new chapters you have added to your story since I have been away on vacation. I love that she is expecting and that Lucius went into hyperprotective mode with her. For some people, you can only look at their actions to know that they care and care deeply. I am glad that she said something about the hold that Narcissa has on him and their potential for future happiness. It was about time he got a kick in the head and let him know how she really feels and that they are not the same women in every aspect. On a personal note, I adore reading your writing, because it is so descriptive and clean. I usually am not distracted from grammatical errors and can lose myself in your plot and manipulation of JKR's characters. Thanks for doing such a great job -- you set the bar for excellence quite high for other authors to aspire to acheieve. :) Heather

Wow Lucius really was trying to control every aspect of this pregnancy, I glad Hermione put her foot down. You have enough to worry about when your pregnant, without your husband controling your every move. I hope now Lucius will be able to lay his past to rest and focus in the present where is a fiesty little witch who is falling in love with him. Can't wait for more.

LoL. Never a middle ground for Luscius, eh? Always all the way, or no way. Very nice characterization, and the story is flowing wonderfully. Are the Snapes going to make an appearance? I like their pairing a lot too! :D

I love it!!! Lucius learning to let go, and be human!! What fun! I am so sorry i stuffed my last review by muddling your storylines up! I feel so embarassed that I did that! But they're wonderful stories. Really. I am enjoying your writing a lot and I can't wait for the next installment! :)

I absolutely love this story. It has the just the right combination of what is needed to hold me captive. I'm one of those terrible people who never review. I feel that I have nothing constructive or of value to YOU to say. I don't want to waste your time, when you have given me so much by sharing with me you time and talents. I work a minimun of 16 hour days, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, (I must admit I recieved four days off when I got married, and three days off when I had my children, of which my youngest is now 18), but your creative plea has me writing this review. It is a bright spot in my day when I see you have updated. I have myself a mini party. Which means I take a break, grab a cuppa and something I really shouldn't indulgle in and revel in the opportunity to read for the sake of pleasure. I so enjoy Malfoy's struggle with his sense of self-preservation, dignity and his (horror of horrors) love of Hermione. His desire to have control over his feelings and emotions makes me grin and then, I can't help myself LOL. Hermione's struggle is also so...real. It brings the story home for me. Trying to find that place that has one content and energized, wanting security, but enjoying the continuing hunt for that elusive balance. You are masterful at achieving the "AAHHHH" of satisfaction in these moments. Once these hurdles are overcome, I rarely see authors (and I bet you would have a hard time to find a ?/Hermione story I haven't read) continue to take on the challenges of "the same old, same old" in a relationship. I believe you have the talent to accomplish that in something other than a non-condesending post blurb.
Oh dear, as I skim over my missive, perhaps I SHOULD have remained a silent fan. Thank you all the same. Blessings, SAA

Hang on a cotton-picking minute; how did I miss chapter 30? (scratches head). Anyway, I'm glad Lucius has been given the appropriate medical dispensations and will not be subjecting Hermione to an eight month dry spell.
I should think Hermione did stay in bed rather than doing a strenuous workout first thing in the morning - has Lucius not heard of morning sickness? Or first trimester fatigue? What's in these books he's reading?
He's lucky she seems to be only minimally hormonal...I'd have clubbed him over the head by now. Ah, but she really, really lurves him now, doesn't she? He is indispensible indeed, and finally beginning to let go of all the troubles of the past. It will be weird for Lucius not to have to play mind games with his partner.
I hope she isn't going near Crookshanks' litter tray, btw. Lol, I'm as bad as Malfoy.
When are they going to discuss their childrearing philosophies? I can imagine a few clashes on that.
