I LOVE!!! this story...It has some of the best characterization of Lucius that I've seen in a story, especially a Lucius dealing with the light winning. So many people see him as purely evil, but I agree with your assessment. He's not evil at all, just misguided by family ideas and a bit guarded.

Short, but very sweet. I sort of liked reading Lucius having his foot stuck in his mouth. He deserved it, and I think so did Hermione.

Nice chapter!! Although it does make me wonder what the point of being a wizard is, if you can't make double fudge brownies sugar free, calorie free and fat free with a wave of the wand. I'd take that over flying any day!

Going back to the subject, wonderful chapter, nice to see he's finally admitting to himself he's smitten. Always looking forward to your wonderful updates. Do we see Hermoine's pregnancy cravings kick in anytime soon? Granted her sweet tooth is definitely making itself known... but what marriage is complete without a hubby trudging to the all-night store for a pint of ice cream and a jar of pickles for his very pregnant wife, eh? :D

Hmm..... Looks like Lucius is going to have to swallow his pride and apologize to Hermione. Will he do it? CAN he do it? I guess we'll see in the next chapter.
