Ch 41:
Wow! I found myself crying as the lightening bolt struck home in Lucius' heart. I could see him realizing every nasty deed he'd ever done. I could feel the pain that choked him and made it hard for him to breathe. His heart was literally breaking and it had to have been the hardest thing he had ever had to do to walk away from the first woman he'd truly come to love.
A month? Don't get me wrong, I can see him needing more than a night or two to figure out what's now in his heart... But can he stay away from them for that long? I think that Hermione is his light and realized salvation and he'll likely find himself drowning without her.
This chapter was extremely emotional as well. I love the depth of emotion you poured into it and I know you were probably crying as you wrote it. I salute you and I wait anxiously for the next chapter... (If he stays away a whole month I think Hermione should make him crawl back to the bedroom in a very submissive, docile manner!)
Please update soon as I don't want to wait long to see what happens next!

ch 41 - whoa, what a roller-coaster.... Thanks for not letting the vampire succeed in his greedy plans; that was a very sneaky and thus very Hermione solution. But boo on Lucius taking the coward's route! I hope Hermione tells Severus, who might be able to put a tracking spell on him or something. Bad father, to leave just when Hermione has post-partum blues to deal with and really needs his help. He better make it up to her when he returns!!

A great chapter! I really liked the way you had Lucius react, it was an unexpected twist, but I see that he would not be the husband Hermione wants and the father Chloe needs if he doesn't come to terms with him self, not to mention forgive himself. Very well done!

Wow, I knew something was coming, but I didn't know what! I don't think I was expecting that, but I also think it is needed. Poor Hermione and Chloe, poor Lucius, finally knowing how much he needs to want to change before things get better. I can't wait for more to see how Lucius spends his month and what he does to come to grips with everything.
